Most general AI tools are not built around a specific school curriculum. SIMU is designed around Ugandan secondary-school learning materials, so its explanations can be traced back to the source material. When it cannot find a reliable source, it should say so rather than guess.

Good question. It is the valves that do it. The tricuspid and bicuspid valves sit between each atrium and ventricle, and the semilunar valves sit at the exits.
Each one opens under pressure from behind it and shuts against pressure from in front, so blood moves forward but cannot come back.

Access
Designed around the devices students already use.
Students can message SIMU through WhatsApp instead of downloading another app. This makes the service easier to access on existing phones and useful where devices are shared.
Web app
The web app gives students a fuller learning interface for longer study sessions, with a space to work through questions and review their learning.
