Product
A tutor that cannot make things up. Because it has to cite.
Most AI tools answer from whatever they absorbed in training. SIMU answers from the NCDC curriculum, names the page, and says so plainly when it does not have a source.
Today
Good question. It is the valves that do it. The tricuspid and bicuspid valves sit between each atrium and ventricle, and the semilunar valves sit at the exits.
Each one opens under pressure from behind it and shuts against pressure from in front, so blood moves forward but cannot come back.
NCDC Biology S4 · Transport in Mammals · p.118A patient’s bicuspid valve does not close fully. Where would blood go during ventricular contraction, and what would that do to the volume reaching the body?
Capabilities
What is actually different.
Grounded in NCDC materials
SIMU answers from the national curriculum textbooks and syllabus documents, not from general internet knowledge. When it does not have a source, it says so instead of guessing.
Competency-anchored teaching
Each session is tied to a named CBC competency, so what a student practises maps directly onto what they are assessed on.
UNEB-style scenario checks
Understanding is tested with applied scenario questions in the format students meet in national exams, not with recall prompts.
Works over WhatsApp
Students reach SIMU on the app they already have, on the phone they already share. No download, no data-heavy interface.
Citations on every answer
Each explanation names the textbook, chapter, and page behind it. Teachers can check the work; students can go to the source.
Diagrams and figures
SIMU retrieves the actual figures from curriculum textbooks, so a student asking about the heart sees the diagram their book uses.
Inside a session
Four steps, every time.
- 1
A student asks a question
On WhatsApp or the web app, in plain English, about any topic in their syllabus.
- 2
SIMU finds the source
It searches the NCDC curriculum materials for the passages and figures that actually answer the question.
- 3
It teaches, then checks
The explanation is built from those sources and followed by a scenario question that tests whether the student can apply it.
- 4
The teacher can see the work
Every answer carries its citation, so nothing SIMU says is unverifiable.
Coverage
Subject by subject, as the content is licensed.
We do not switch a subject on until the curriculum materials behind it are properly ingested and licensed. Anything listed as planned is not yet available to students.

Access
On the phone students already share.
Students message SIMU the way they message anyone else. Nothing to install, works on a shared handset, and light enough for a patchy connection.
Web app
A fuller interface at app.simututor.com for longer revision sessions, with diagrams and saved conversation history.
Get started
Bring it to your classroom.
We will run a live session with one of your classes and show your teachers exactly what they get out of it.
